As a child, I was always emotionally moved and drawn into photos when reading newspapers and magazines that laid around my
grandparents house, and at family functions the camera would be handed off to me.
When I was in college, majoring in journalism, I took some photography classes and was hooked.
In 2002, I started Mad Photographer Productions (n.k.a. Chrisharaisms) and freelanced for The South End (Wayne State University's
Newspaper) and The Michigan Frontpage. Since then, I have built my portfolio with documentary photos of various events and
travel, portraits and digital imaging.
